I helped in my first incomplete shed this weekend! All the toesies have been saved!

When I caught him in shed, his entire head was covered and he ad socks clinging to him. I came back some time later and he had a skin-beard. It was amusing. After day one, all he had left was one whole foot covered in a mitten, and some toes. So I soaked him briefly in dechlorinated warm water and carefully took the skin off. He was a good patient boy.
