Hi there! Sorry to be posting yet another morph thread lol. This one is for a friend. Early this year she adopted two female leopard geckos, named Orta and Lilly.
The story behind this pair is that she got them from a friend. Her friends sister "rescued" them but had absolutely NO idea how to care for them. They were kept in a small plastic tank with a desk lamp over them. No heat mat, they got a box of crickets just thrown in occasionally when she remembered. Eventually her friend convinced her she couldn't care for them and to re-home, her friends sister said "I'll just release them in the garden.".... Luckily, my friend got them before she could do that!
Lilly is a Normal, we know that. However, Orta has confused a lot of people. When she got her, she looked like this.
She wasn't in shed in this photo, in fact she has JUST shed the day before. The red toe is because she had stuck shed that needed removing and some of it was very old shed unfortunately. She only has one good eye as well...
So naturally everyone thought she was a Blizzard due to being grey... We could have all been wrong I suspect Murphy Patternless now...
Especially since Orta now looks like this.
She shed yesterday, hence the bit on her nose(which has now been removed) so these are her true colours...
I'm wondering if her colour has shown true because she is now being cared for properly... But not entirely sure if that would happen?
Thanks.
