ok i house 2 females together. a snow and a tremper. the snow is 56 grams and the tremper is 35 grams. now stupid me put my male in with them, i thout that he would leave tremper alone, becase she would attck him, like she always dose. so i thout that the snow was just going to breed. i open the box after a few days to take out the male. and he was mating with the 5 month old tremper. now i know that is to light of a gecko and to young. i look under her and she is ovulating. now she is young but she is the size of my other female. she is very big for hewr age. now the eggs are developing and there is nothing i can do about it. please tell me what might happen to her, or if she will be ok. i mean its not like my male forced her. when she bites it hurts and my male backs off. will she be ok.

She is really young and really light. Be sure to feed her well and provide tons of calcium and other supplements. The worst that could happen is she could die. She could absorb the eggs. But watch her closely. Why were two females with that big of a size difference housed together to begin with? Good Luck, and I hope that she is okay. Females that big can ovulate but that doesn't mean they are old enough or big enough to carry eggs.

He was saying, why are two different sized females together in the first place. Even though they are both females, there is always a possibility of bullying, stress, or aggression.

Well.... you live and you learn ;) It's a little late to explain what you already know(males mate any female they can)

seperate her by removing the other female so she has as little stress as possible. Keep her fed and supplimented and give her a lay box. Watch her wieght and if she gets really thin then you need to stop her from ovulating any more....

ok let me explain. the tremper has giant gean in her, and the snow is normal. so the tremper, is 39 grams, i checked today. and the other is 65, with the eggs. but the tremper is also the same size as the snow, do to giant. also, when i first got my other female, i was a beginner. so my female grew slow, because i fed her 2 a week, with cricks. and i had a light and no heat pad. now i have two years of experience, and now i have a rack, with perfect conditions. and my tremper now has 90 degrees in her tube and i always have food in there. and form time to time, she has super worms, so she grows very fast. there you have it. now i know 39 grams is still to light and she is to young. but now there is nothing i can do. i just hope, nothing bad happens to her. oh and you know, there are geckos who are 5 months and are 60 grams, iv seen it. same senario with mine.
