My leo, Louie, has been having shedding issues on his head. He can barely open his eyes. It's kind of like a crusty layer on both eyelids. Would Repti Shedding Aid help in any way? I'm really worried. Thanks :)

I would up your humidity. I have a gal here that is a horrific shedder too, and every few weeks I have to give her a bit of extra help. What I do is: a) spray down her tub while the UTH is on, b) also I’ve added a shallow water dish to keep the humidity up c) ive added moss/vermiculite to her moist box. And when all that fails (and sometimes it does) I give her a nice sauna bath; just put her in a container with warm water for a few minutes and let it steam up.

What you need to be cautious of is the eye cap (eye shed). If that doesn’t come off then you can end up with an eye infection and the only way to deal with that is meds from a vet. So if the geckos eyes are sticking together and the sauna bath fails, it is time for a vet appointment.

Ps ive added a bit of the repti shed to the bath before, good stuff!
