Here are pics of the first Zorro White and Yellow male we hatched out from this new project. We crossed our Mars W/Y male to our best 2012 Zorro Bandit female.

This boy is the real deal. Perfect in every way, with amazing head marking symmetry and cool colors. He even has a grace about him, very calm, like he knows he's all that.

Hi Ray,

Do you have any pics of him as a hatchling ?

No, I didn't want to handle or bother him when he was hatched because I was so excited I didn't want to chance anything. He basically looked just like he does now though. He's only a couple weeks old. My guess is that he will get a bit more colorful in the coming weeks, but that his markings will stay about the same. That's how his father, Mars, developed. I don't think high end W/Ys change a whole lot, unlike many other morphs as they grow out. Mars' colors in person are brilliant and he is of course fully mature now. The only other morph I can say that about are the Firefoxes. True Firefoxes stay very orange even as adults. That's how you can tell if an FF is a real true FF. They stay very brightly colored even as adults. There are some FFs in the marketplace that are sold as FFs but do not have the bright colors and are likely crossed with Tangs. There was one recently at a show for big bucks but it looked more like a Tang than FF.

I have more eggs from the Zorro W/Y project so maybe we'll get lucky and get a female that looks like this boy. Then we've really hit the jackpot...
