This forum will be updated and edited with pictures of all my geckos. I plan to start my own little breeding thing, but at the moment I only have two geckos... for now.

First one is my pet leopard gecko saphira: I got her at 9grams and she is now 13 grams

This next photo is of my Blizzard Eclipse name Viserion she is also female.

Them cuddling on the warm side, too cute. I love waking up in the morning to these two.

Below is my tank I have these two in. It's a 29 gallon and is very big. The background I have reptile carpet which they LOVE. They enjoy being able to climb up the wall and just sit there. The reptile carpet only goes half way because I didn't want them to fall and hurt themselves. Another good thing it that it helps to keep the tank warm. As the substrate I have eco earth. I find it's the best natural type of substrate you can get. I've tested it myself and noticed that it dissolves in water and breaks down easily which means it could easily break down in the stomach acid of a gecko. So i really don't think any impaction will happen from it. to the left I have their cold hide which turned into a moist hide when they are shedding and the food/water bowls. The middle I have a large tree that they can climb on easily and that is where they spend most of their time. if you look carefully at the bottom of the picture you can see Saphira hiding out in the root cave. To the far right is the hot hide that has a heating pad under it along with a heating lamp on top. About two or three days after doing this picture I did add in a most hide that i keep damp all the time. I have three thermometers in the tank. One at the bottom on the left to get the ground reading of the cold side. One on the bottom to the right to get the ground reading of the hot. and one up at the top in the middle to read the air temp. The on in the middle is also a hydrometer so i cant make sure that is okay as well.

So today I thought it would be nice to make my tank look more natural for my geckos and to give it a bit of.. life. It looks rather dull and not really fun for my geckos so I got some stuff and this is what I came up with. there are Three hides, four arches, two of their arches being hides for them, 7-8 different plants, and just some fun looking decor. My geckos are already in love with them and explored a bit before going back to sleep. I'm sure once night time comes they will be all over the place in their new little tank setup.

I added more plants to the tank

Weirdly enough my temp of my tank is fine. My hot side floor temp is 90-94F and my cold side is 80-78F. Could it be too hot for them?

So the darkness was from them about to shed cause after they shed this is what they look like:

Saphira's markings seem to have turned into a smiley on her back

I turned this picture so you could see the smiley.

This is was Viserion looks like now.

Im pretty sure Viserion is about to shed and hasn't done so just yet. I will post a picture the day after she sheds.

Viserion is getting much lighter now that I've changed her hot hide with something that collects a steady amount of heat for her with three different levels on it. She seems to stay in that one more than my other one.

She is in fact a blizzard. XD but with her colors I was starting to question that myself. Thing is she does have white toes and full eclipse eyes in both eyes. They are both jet black which is common in blizzards so I still lean to bliazzard

New exo terra Tank for my geckos

So. I wanted to add a second level to my tank for my leo to give them a higher point to rest on and more exercise. What I did was used a cork flat and pushed it up in the corner and added eco-earth to it packing that down til it was filled. When I got my cork flat is was a bit to big so i cut it and the part I cut I used like a ramp to get up there and also dug out the under of the ramp to make another hide. In the video it doesn't look like it's been dug out but for some reason they like to cover up that hide after using it. Also on the second level I added a water fall just so that in case I go away for a day or two the water fall doesn't dry up unlike the water bowl I had which I needed to change every day. Now I know some people my freak out and be like "Omg the water fall will make it too humid. Not really. my humidity stays between 20-30% And that's with me already living in a very humid place. That tank I am using is a Exo terra 36x18x18 It's huge, but my geckos love it. They climb and explore it all the time.

The reason i did it in a video is because it's too big to take pics of.
