Yep the garden section. I saw some moss just yesterday for 4 dollars a brick.

Hardware stores have Sphagnum moss or what they call Orchid Moss (its just sphagnum moss marketed to put in Orchid pots). It should all be ok. I have used moss from garden centers since i started keeping leos and never had any problem.

I see. When they are making eggs will they go off food? I have a 65 g female that usually nearly jumps out of the tank and wrestles supers away from me and she'd eat 5 or 6 a day, but now for the last week she seems uninterested.

Will females that are of breeding size ovulate and become gravid or even lay eggs if there is no male present? Do they lay non fertile eggs on a regular basis like chickens do????

I have never seen mine little guy eat at all. But I watch for signs of healthiness. Good Activity, good sheds, gaining weight, and of course poop (if somethings coming out, somethings gotta be going in).
