Unusual behavior - worried - please help

Hi - I have a 1.5 year old male leopard gecko. I have not been able to find any help for this. On Saturday morning he suddenly started scratching/pawing at the ground. he does this for minutes on end (5-20 at a time). When he does, he uses any or all of his limbs and just stares into space. He...

Hi everyone. I have a 1 year old (and three months) leopard gecko. He lives in a 25 gallon and I use two domes, one for a CHE and on a dimming thermostat, and the other, a nano UVB (I also provide the appropriate calcium with and without D3). He's been doing good, but this morning I woke up...

    Please review my husbandry!!

Thank you so much. My vet leans one way when it comes to husbandry, and then the input I get from online sources I turn to with small questions goes the complete opposite. I'm glad to hear he is fine!

    Does he look okay?

Does my guy look okay? He has always been chunky, and probably eats too many mealworms (his other bugs keep dying on me), I made another post about his husbandry. These photos are taken while he slinks under something so he is crouched a bit.

    Please review my husbandry!!

Vets or ACs please! I have a one year old male lepoard gecko, Fred. I have had him for eight months. I am an anxious pet owner and there is much conflicting information about husbandry so I wanted to post a basic rundown and make sure I'm on the right side of things as Fred is now an adult...

    Small Area of Stuck Shed

I don't know if this is an option for you, but when my gecko had stuck shed persisting on his toes, my vet gave me an over-the-counter solution that worked like a charm. It might be worth asking and having on hand, along with keeping a moist hide and good humidity. During shed I also like to...

Is it necessary to have a night light?

I've always heard that a temperature drop is beneficial for them at night, as long as it does not drop below 60 or so.

    SHEDDING GECKO

I would agree! I actually got my gecko on a day that he was shedding, so I saw his first shed after a few hours of owning a gecko. Now, he sheds almost exclusively in the middle of the night, so I really only ever see him turn colors and then look all shiny and new!

    The great setup debate

This is a great thread. I know that I've never used sand or a naturalistic set up - I'm a nonadhesive shelf liner kind of gecko keeper. I did try to put reptisoil in a dig box in there ... I baked it dry and followed all the instructions but I feel like it still caused my gecko some issues? I...

No worries! I could be off - I heard the same thing and then saw a chart that listed it as high in fat! I’m still using them as a regular feeder but a little less than I was. I think they are healthy! Good luck!!
