It really saddens me that even though leopard geckos are relatively easy to care for and there’s an abundance of information out there on care that some people can’t even be bothered with the basics. If they aren’t prepared to look after an animal why get it
still haven’t picked a name yet lol, haven’t found anything that’s sticking plus it’s changing so quickly still so not sure what suits, thought of koopa and maybe nicknaming koop or koops
This was him the same day about three hours later, hadn’t shed but no idea why he was almost gray before, no change to diet and temps all good, he was splooted out on his heat mat in the first pic so maybe needed to warm up?
Pretty new also but looks like stuck shed, mine had some on his toes, advice I saw/used was put him in bowl with luke warm water covering the toes not too deep for about 10-15 mins then use a cotton bud/q-tip in direction of the shed to gently remove, make sure water isn’t too hot or get too cold
Hi, need some advice on my leopard gecko, I’ve had him for about a month and he she’d just before I got him and has had a shed 2 weeks ago, obv know that they will go pale, then white then shed but is it normal for them to go pale then almost back to normal colour before actually shedding...
I bought a pet play pen so I could sit in whilst handling him until we’re both comfortable also thought he could get some exercise whilst I clean his viv out
Hi,
New here, just got my leopard gecko Yoshi coming up for 3 weeks ago, today was first day handling him outside of vivarium, any hints/tips to make him more comfortable with handling/anything I’m doing wrong?
