Hi,
New here, just got my leopard gecko Yoshi coming up for 3 weeks ago, today was first day handling him outside of vivarium, any hints/tips to make him more comfortable with handling/anything I’m doing wrong?

I bought a pet play pen so I could sit in whilst handling him until we’re both comfortable also thought he could get some exercise whilst I clean his viv out

Congrats on your new gecko and welcome to GF! The play pen is a good idea so he doesn't take off and get lost. I seems you're doing the right thing in giving him the ability to explore without being hauled around, just guided to stay with you and get used to you. Enjoy him.
