Yeah, Puzzle likes them sometimes. I've heard some people say their fat tails won't touch mealies, maybe Puzzle is developing tastes or something LOL. I will try the fridge thing, and just put a few out in the pyrex the day I know I will feed him.

I usually feed Puzzle crickets, but sometimes it's nice to be able to do the mealworms because they are lower maintenance and less smelly. But I've noticed he will only eat them within the first week or so of me bringing them home. I keep them in a little rectangular pyrex dish with a plastic...

Well, we stay at a camp in cabins that don't have heat or anything. It gets cold enough at night that I will need a UTH and a heat emitter for sure. It gets down to the mid 40s low 50s.

Do you use the under tank heater as well? And what kind of tub is it? Like a tupperware sort of thing or a thicker type of rubbermaid bin?

So I think I need to take Puzzle with me to Maine, and it gets chilly there at night. I am trying to avoid having to bring his entire cage, and was thinking that I could just get a little bin or something for the 6 days I am there. Are plastic bins OK to use with the under the tank heater? I...

Haha! I talk to Puzzle all the time. His cage is in the bedroom, so every time I go in there I stop by and talk to him. Most of the time it's me waking him up and he kinda looks at me with one eye like.."stfu and let me sleep, woman!"

When Puzzle was a baby he would squish himself in between the rock and the wall, or underneath the little rock I used to hold down the temperature probe. He doesn't do that anymore, but I remember thinking it was so funny. He liked tiny little spaces.

Jon loves this commercial. Every time it comes on, he laughs for like 5 minutes. I think I like it just because it's so funny to see him so amused by it.

I agree with Aliza, and it can get frustrating when no one responds to a thread, but you have to try not to take it too personally. Not knowing what the original post was, it's impossible to really respond objectively, but it seems that maybe you posted pictures and didn't get a response...

Good idea. If you stock up, be sure to keep it in the fridge, it will stay fresh a lot longer.

I weighed him today and he's up to 31.5 grams! His tail is so fat, it's freaking adorable. Pretty soon I'm going to need to do some pore pics to validate the fact that he actually is a he.
