I've actually been cutting back on his food intake lately. He's around 5yrs old now and he's pretty smart. I think he escapes his cage and goes to feed himself in the middle of the night and gets back in before sunrise;)

I have some 6 years old girls that tip the scale too, how much are you feeding him now?

He gets fed every 2 to 3 days at this point. Usually a mix of mealworms and crickets with the occassional super. He takes in about 15 small mealworms and a few medium crickets each time. Sometimes I cut him back pretty good though and only give him like 3 large crickets. Depends on what his appetite is like I guess. I never feed him for more than just a few minutes.

I'm now only feeding my females 8 mealworms every 4-5 days, I feel so bad for them! :main_no:

Switch to crix. they smell bad but feeding those are healthier than that little amount of food every week :(. Yes that boy is HUGE! all my females are about 60g right now. im trying to get them to eat more lol

I feed each one of them differently. My others don't get as much food, and they stop eating on their own. I pretty much have to stop this guy from eating. I honestly change up the feeding amounts and frequency quite a bit. I may not feed them for 3 days and they eat great the next feeding. They all grow at their own rate. I have a girl that's over 2 years old and only weighs about 35g. She will never be a big girl.
