i know this doesnt have to do compleatly with leos, but it leads me to them in the end (if this post has to get moved for beig in the wrong forum, then sorry). so yesterday i was cleaning my standing's day gecko tank. normally i just do some spot cleaning and what not, but yesterday it was time for a full clean. i lifted up a piece of bark that was on the floor and found the female, under the female as she ran away were a clutch of eggs. i was all :D of course so i brought them into the reptile room to candle them and put them in an incubator. as im candling them i couldnt quite find any vanes, but instead i accually seen something move. i was all like :main_huh: and deff didnt beleave what i seen. so i stair at it for another min, and what do i see?!?!?! i see the shape of a head, eyes, little toes, and a tail curling around from the underside of the egg. i candled the other egg, and seen the exact same thing. so im jumping around like an idiot and yelling for every one to come see, and no one is even home. hahaha. after bout 5 mins i calmed down and put them into an incubater. i then thought"hmmmmm maybe i can do that with leo eggs". i dont know if any of you can, but i couldnt, all i got were vanes, and that was from a 4 week old egg. any way, that my story and how it lead to leo eggs.:main_thumbsup:
enjoy

i was guessing i couldnt see it in the leo eggs cause theyre just too thick. day gecko eggs, are tiny, thing and really fragel. the thing that got me is it seemed they were swimming around, kinda doing flips inside the egg.
