Hi everyone, talk about the most frustrating and depressing breeding year, I started off with two females, one of them laid one egg then four days later died. the egg she laid made it 99 days before It stank like death. upon cutting the egg open I found an almost fully developed baby that was as dead as dillinger. my other female has on the other had laid seven clutches this year but nothing has hatched so far, I have 2 of her cluthes over 80 days, the longest at 107 days , these eggs are full and plump but have a yellow glow. at 91 days I have conjoined eggs that candle red viens, and at 77 days a single egg with a yellow glow, at 66 days a pair of eggs that candle with veins. last year I hatched out 5 babies at 65 days at 83f now I've lost 9 out of 21 eggs without really changing my method. I probably need to upgrade from my styrofoam chicken egg Incubator as well as move to a state that Unlike Michigan has less drastic fluxuation in temperature from day to day. If any body has some good advice or has a similar problem please to let me know. By the way the eggs are from AFT's Hemitheconyx caudicinctus:smoking:

I just had two hatch out of my 88 degree NS incubator at almost 60 days. AFT eggs take forever!! LOL. I'm hoping your girls are just taking longer. ;)

I know there fatties, but we've got a lot of infertile eggs this year, although we also have a few new breeders, but even our older females first few clutches were no good.

Lets hope we have better luck from now on ;)
