15 gallon ok for one?

I had to separate my geckos, they both lived in a 55 gallon tank since I got them in November. I was pretty sure my high yellow was a female, but recently my SHTCT Dante went after "her" and I separated them. No injuries for either, my smaller high yellow was just a little stressed for a day or two (guess so, since he was the one being chased!) and I checked again... The high yellow DEFINITELY looks male now that he's gotten bigger. He's currently in a 10 gallon that I had laying around but I plan on moving him into a 15 gallon once it's cleaned up. Is that ok for a single gecko? It's kind of disappointing because the big tank is clearly enough room for both but Dante is being a big bully about it (naturally, I know two males will fight, but out of the two the only aggressive one is Dante lol). Poor little guy looks confused as to where the rest of his house went lol

You could put a divider in the middle the tank and move the uth so that they both get heat. It depends on the size of your uth though I guess, if its big enough that would work. I don't know what temperature gradient you'll get with the uth in the middle, but it might be worth a try. That would give them more space than a 15 gallon tank for sure. With a tank that size I think you can get a decent temperature gradient in both directions, I can't say for sure though. If you decide to try it let me know if it works out for you.

I did try that but it didn't work so well. Plus both love to climb so they both tried to get over the divider to the other side. Thanks for the suggestion though.
