Hey guys

I have two female, normals, that live together

One weights 54.9 the other weighs 59.4.....same numbers but look close.

anyway the fatter one will eat until i stop puttin crix in. The other one will just eat one maybe 2 every day or every other day or so.

The sleep together, no scratches on each other they have lived with each other for about 3 months now.

Do you think the other one doesnt eat cause she is afraid? I have never seen her over 55 grams ever, alone or together. Or does she not want to get fat hahaha

My two females that share a tank do this too. Don't worry, some leos can eat only a little and still keep their weight up while others will eat like a pig and be a little fatter. If you only feed crickets then you should try feeding mealworms in a dish too or even separate dishes, one for each leo so the smaller one will have a chance to eat too. ;)

I would normally think bullying but that doesent sound like whats wrong. Their both good weights and if everything seems good, then I wouldnt worry about it. Good luck :)

Each gecko has different metabolism just like people. I have two females that are in seperate tanks (visually seperated as well) and are of identical weight. The one eats every night about 5-8 crix and the other eats about 5-8 crix every other night. Go figure :main_huh: .
