Thanks Morgan... that guy is one of my favorites, and by far the most laid back, mellow gecko I have. He's difficult to photograph, though. Very light in color, it's hard to get any definition with him.

Thanks for the comments. I'm pretty happy with them all, especially given the small fortune I've spent acquiring them!

As for weights... only the Giant RAPTOR meets any of the "requirements" to be what he is. The Supers are all under that magic "110 gram" mark, even though they are quite obviously supers when you see them. Of course they will all put on weight later this year when I sequester them into their individual tubs. Brutus is the biggest, at around 120 grams before breeding. Tank was 112 grams, Vader was at 100 grams at 9 months. Elvis hasn't reached 80 yet, but he's not a year old yet. I also have a Super Giant EMBER that hasn't been proven yet, he's 111 grams. I think the worst thing that happened to this morph was the creation of those weight requirements. They simply aren't going to be accurate all of the time. Genetics are genetics, and there will always be exceptionally big specimens, and not so big specimens, variable as with any morph.

Hmm, agreed. If anything, length and bone structure is more important than scale weight. My SG girl is only 70 grams right now, but that's the season for you. Top weight was 100g beforehand.

My oldest Super Giant female is 6 years now, and she topped out at 94 grams. The Supers that I've bred this year are all around 70 grams much of the time, but they are very long. I have another sG male Mack Snow that looked to have ruptured his hemipenes during breeding earlier this year that's 80-something grams, but he looks like a monitor lizard, he has such a long look to him. You'd never mistake him for a non-giant, weight or no weight.
