I absolutely LOVE the fact that I can get animals shipped to me. I can get any animal in the world that I want. What more could you ask for?

I would not want to be limited to only animals I could get locally.

I could do without the added stress and worry while an animal is in transit. However, the way I see it the pros far outweigh the cons. :main_thumbsup:

Agrees with Jeremy. I love being able to have such a variety to choose from. I hate the extra charges and the stress waiting for the arrival, but eh, it's usually worth it in the end.

Even if I were to wait and go to a reptile show, there's usually not nearly the variety to choose from when compared to online... Not in Georgia at least...

I also love the idea that I can have my geckos shipped all over the country as well as Europe, and my choices are not limited to locals for buying and selling geckos!

With fuel prices so high, the cost of shipping is w-a-y up. If I were to ship a gecko to the East Coast, it would cost around $60-70 for Next Day morning delivery... plus the cost of packaging. Most breeders actually lose money by shipping geckos.

I love picking my leopard geckos out and holding them before I make the fore sure yes I am buying this leopard decision. I have also seen leopard geckos and had them shipped to me and they are just as pictured or better and with awesome temperaments. Even I stress out when I ship leopards but the pros outweigh the cons. Sometimes its also if you want to pay the $45-60.00 shipping charge or pay the same or more driving to pick them up.

Yeah, it's too bad shipping costs have to be so steep. It can turn a bargain deal into a so-so deal. But all of this just has to be considered when deciding how much a product is worth to me. Do I really need it, or do I just want it? Can I afford to wait until the price drops next year? I found that 90% of the time, I just want something I don't need.

Shipping is amazing, its allowed me to get some amazing animals. And ship worms and animals to other people all over the country.
