240 volt Thermostat???

I am in need of a thermostat that I can plug into my wall air conditioner in my apartment. I am having trouble finding one that I can plug my ac into. It needs to be 240 volt. Can anyone help?? It's getting too hot while I am at work.

I am pretty sure you can wire a Johnson Controls A419 to be 240.

I found that model, I just don't think I can figure out the wiring before the summer is over and the snow is back! Looks quite complicated. Just wondered if there was a simple solution like this one

From what I can see,you can wire it for either voltage or there is a 24v also.

Im assuming that you want to have a cooling device? If so just buy an addition thermostat from the local harware store and wire it inline with the ac, which can be ducte to the probe area. If this isnt the case...what is the need for a thermostat that plugs into the AC?
