I have an empty 29 gallon and I was just wondering what everyone thinks I should put in it. I would need something that is usually readily available.

See, these questions raise questions... There have been a bunch of them lately...
Why do you not know what you want to keep???
Why listen to someone else as far as what you should keep???
Are you willing to take care of something just because some people on a forum think you should???
Why pick something just because it is "readily available"??? Sounds like you want to get something just fore the sake of filling up an empty cage... This is NOT a reason to take on a new life form...
Why not do some research on animals YOU like and would want to keep???


YOU should keep a species beause YOU like it, not because it is a popular pick, readily available or to fill up tank space...

I third that. I have been thinking the same thing. maybe just because you have an empty tank lying around doesn't mean you need to put something in it. especial if you can't figure that out yourself.

Yah like they said dont just "fill" the tank, but if you have thought it out and your just really looking for a list of animals that can fit it a 29 gallon that you could go research and then buy. The only real choices are most types of geckos, some fish, or maybe some small snakes.

I was just asking.....I dont feel that I needed to be told anything. I was just curious as to what other people would keep if they had the choice.I understand where you are coming from, I dont feel that someone should aquire something, just because the space is to the avail ether. Dang, after hearing Gregg on LNL the other night, I would be afraid he is part of the mafia with that thick accent, so I wouldn't be messin around to much. Nah just playin. But I do agree with everything he said.

As for the 29 gallon tank... I feel that is the perfect size for some sort of arboral animal seeing as it is wide and tall. Possibly some Tokays or a couple of cresteds.
