3 egg clutches!!!

I have a female that dropped 2 three egg clutches in a row... She did this 3 weeks ago and again today... The cool thing is that the 3 eggs layed 3 weeks ago are all viable.... They were a bit on the small side but have swelled up to the size of normal three week old eggs... Hopefully all three eggs will be good this time as well...
The first time she did this I figured it was a fluke and that one of the eggs would not be fertile... And now it happened again...

Just figured I would share my story and see if anyone else experienced this as well....

Oh and it is from my SHTCTB UG line X Hypo Mack... I guess this increases my chance a bit...:main_thumbsup:

I am not at all surprised to read of this happening
not that I have a clue as to why it did

A while back I replied to a post that had something to do with giants and I wondered how long it would be until we saw 3 or more eggs in clutches from Leos
A got a reply stating that-it would be impossible for that to happen because of the female Leos anatomy
I still thought that it was possible

I had posted this on another forum I was on the first year I bred, I had a female lay one clutch of three eggs but one ended up being no good, and it was much smaller than the others, but when i posted that the others on the forum said this isn't out of the average.

Interesting, I'd think the 3rd ones chances are slim. Good luck do and let us know what happens.

Update...

Hey everyone...

The first clutch of 3 never hatched... All looked good and swelled out and everything, but were obviously not fertile... I am still waiting on the second clutch of 3... They should be hatching in the next couple of days but I have a feeling only two will hatch...

I will let you all know what goes down...

I have heard of this happening, but it seems that the third egg was never fertile. Very cool, though... I hope they all hatch for you!
