3 red babies!!!!

Yay!!!!!

I got a red female named Cherry Bomb, and she came gravid a few months ago..... we have now had 4 successful hatches, and 2 more eggs incubating!!! so happy!!!

Any body have an idea of what age the little rugrats go red? Cresties change in funny ways as they grow... I think the best is the 'big head' phase....

I don't know too much about cresties, but the babies don't even look like them at all, haha.
The adults look really nice.

So cute! The parents are gorgeous. Babies change a lot in the first year, but I'm not sure when they get their adult colors.

I'm just being impatient. All cresties are born brick red- these guys were almost plum purple out of the egg! Now they are a soft gray with tons of spots already. Some one once told me red babies go yellow before turning red? Anyone else hear that?

i dont know the timing of the coloration, but the mom and dad are so awesome!! Are you planning to sell the babies?

Yes...I do plan to sell them, maybe not all but one or two, if anyone is interested we can talk details for warmer weather
