4" heat tape

Does anyone know where i can get 4" heat tape besides bean****! Everyone else just sells the 3" and the 11". Thanks for the help!

Why wont you just order from beanfarm? I got the 4" from them and I love it (not that the product is any different than from anywhere else) they had great service as well...

Well i wold just like to have another company that i can found that has the 4" heat tape. I waited 6 days for them to ship and then I finally e-mailed them! They said they ran out which ain't a big problem they just never told me. They finally told me after I e-mailed them and some how it got shipped that night at 7pm. Just wanting to find somewhere else just in case they run out and i can't get it. Is that alright or is it not good to have a back up plan?

I never said it was bad to have a backup plan, I was just curious as to why you were looking for another company. No need to get hostile...
I looked at Big Apple Herp (I could have sworn they had the 4" kind!) but they too only have the 3" and 11". I do know alot of people who use the 3" tape, so it shouldnt make a whole lot of difference. So as a backup plan, I'd say that 3" tape is ussually sufficent. If, for some reason, you need a thicker tape then maybe put two rows of the 3" tape together (not overlaping!), thats just an idea though. Hope I helped.

Sorry if i sounded jumpy! I could just use the 3" but just like the extra surface area. Heat tape has that plastic lip so the heat part is about a 1/2 inch less then the actually size. I just like have more then enough heat and adjust the power so the heat tape stays lower in temps overall. The 3" would just have to be allowed more power to heat up the tub and would cover less of a area. I'm sure i'm thinking to much into it, lol, but i do that sometimes.
