i havent been on here in a long time but i have a 4 yr old female that has laid 2 eggs in her life 2 yrs ago and i dont even know if they were fertile or not.. i didnt try putting her with a male last year and this year i just tried and again she wasnt receptive, it might be too late in the yr though? is there anything you guys can tell me or any tips about breeding that i could use? thanks

She needs to be ovulating to mate successfully. She either finished ovulating, hasn't ovulated yet or isn't going to. Sometimes being in with the male could encourage her to ovulate but that only works if the male will back off when she lets him know he should. I have had a few females ovulate and lay for a year or two and then just stop ovulating completely.
