Nope. Some people will tell you 45g is fine. But I will not breed mine until they are a minimum of 55g but typically wait until 60g. Since it is a male and doesn't have the same stress on the body as a female, 50g may be ok but I still prefer to allow my geckos to mature more.

Breeding weights change from breeder to breeder. 3 years ago people said 40 grams was fine. It all comes down to the geckos age more than it does the weight. Some people claim their geckos reach 50-60 grams in 5 months. They obviously are not ready to breed at 5 months. Others have 8 month old geckos around 40 grams or so. I believe 8-10 months is the youngest they should be bred

Combine both of the previous answers, both are right.
8-10 months and i prefer atleast 55 for males 60 for females.
