4x2x2 viv

if you were to build a 4x2x2 viv that looked very similar to this, how much would you sell it for?

The materials you used were,

birch plywood
runners (for the glass door)
2 glasses
installed light fixtures (for all the lighting) in case you decided to use it for a bearded dragon
stained finish
sealed and caulked

I would say $225 would be the minimum I would take. If I were building it for a friend it would be different.

What i found interesting was the price of a viv in my local reptile store. It's very similar to this, yet it was priced at 550.

300 to make? I would say you could probably get 400 if youre lucky.
People like to buy things brand new, and a brand name. Thats just how things are.

depending on material costs i would say $700 which is still a good deal seeing as a glass one of the same size sells for around $1000-1250
