My husband and I are going to be moving into our first house in about a month. I have a 55 gallon fish tank that currently has fish in it, but I don't want to keep fish anymore. I wanted to use the 55 gallon tank and make a super awesome vivarium for my leopard gecko, Ozy. She seems to be getting a bit too big for the 20 long. What would I need to do to prepare the tank to make it safe for her to live in? OF course I already know how to take care of her. Had her almost a year now and she's VERY healthy and active. She just seems restless more and more. I think a larger home would remedy this. I want to put a rock background on it that she can climb on, which also has some ledges and little hidey holes for her to chill in, in addition to her regular humid hide, warm hide and cool hide. Suggestions?

Clean it well with water, hydrogen peroxide and vinegar (not all together --do them one at a time). Google "desert vivarium" and you'll find a lot of cool stuff.
