600 breeder roaches enough for 40 geckos..?

Hello,

are 600 B. dubia roaches enough to build a colony, with which I can feed 40 geckos permanent? Do you have any experience how many breeder roaches can produce so many babys that I can feed x geckos?

I am researching that now...
the info I have says that one Adult pair will produce 20-30 nymphs per month.
they give birth to live young and gestate for about 28 days.
Nymphs mature sexually at 3-4 months (dependent on temp.)
If you have 600 adult pair that could be approx. 12,000 roaches in one month and in 4 months those roaches can breed.

but I think there are not 300 males and 300 females within this breeding packet, so I could say I can get about 6,000 to 14,000 babys per month. But I think thats enough..;-)

I would say that 600 roaches is more than enough to start a colony to support 40 leos... However, I would not start feeding them off untill I had a colony of atleast 2000 adults because of the amount of geckos you are feeding...

With a 600 count breeder colony, this goal can be met quite quickly... Maybe 2 to 3 months...

I have 3 leo's and 4 cresties
how many roaches should I start with? I was thinking of getting the starter colony with 400 mixed and ten adult pair.

secondly can/should I feed dubia roaches to cresties? maybe the nymphs?

So I would buy them and wiat 3-4 months, so that they make babys. After the breedingtime I can feed them? Do you mean with that, that I have enough roaches every time?
