8 months too young for an egg?

Kiwi appears to be getting big in the belly and tonite I can see a very clear white ball thru her right side. It would def be infertile if that was the case, but she's hardly an adult I thought.

Is this normal for a female her age? I do not have a weight on her.

8 month old females can ovulate and produce eggs.

if she lays, incubate it. i don't think anyone has produced a parthenogenetic leopard gecko yet, but who knows...

Generally people wait till there a year. But then most geckos you see out there that say "ready to breed" at like 40 ish grams arent even near that age. Ive had a girl come gravid to me at 6 months ish of age. She had one egg and its looking good;D they bred her tho...Who knows if yours was with a male at some point maybe they bred. Its always a possiblity. Good luck!

Oh no she was absolutely an only gecko and I have had her since the last week of Feb. Pretty much 100% positive those are going to be duds.
