for 8 months old he is very small at all times. i would make sure and have calcium in there it looks like he has MBD. 5 drickets? feed him more and also give him more mealies. he should be at least twice the size he is right now

I have a freckle on my hand too. :O

Cute leo. =] Small for 8months. I doubt that's his actual age. Still has quite a bit of baby markings. When i got Lydia (my lav red stripe) the pet store told me she was 5 months old. She's 6 weeks old according to the person they got her from! And she looks 6 weeks old. Doesn't look like it has MBD, just the angle of the one picture.

Still a very cute leo. Congrats on getting it!

@ alle they told me he was 7 to 8 months, but I'm new to leo's, so I don't know. He may be younger than 8 mos. He looks healthy to me.

metabolic bone disease its caused from lack of calcium, just make sure to dust his feeders well with calcium and make sure to leave a small dish in there and in time you will see his legs go back to normal.

if you notice where he bends his feet (ankles) and knees it looks kinda rubbery looking and his feet are kind turned it. those are signs on MBD.

i wouldn't worry about not having seen him drink water. he's probably drinking in the middle of the night-- it's easy to miss. i don't see my geckos drink very often, either. especially since you said you haven't had him very long.. i wouldn't worry too much :)

I agree with robin about the mbd... if your not using calcium with him i'd up it but that could be due to my lil guy whos around 6 mos. has MBD and im a little paranoid now. Also Blair is alot bigger then your guy...
