Im new to breeding and my female laid her first egg 5weeks ago. I was told that it takes around 6 weeks too hatch. Ive started too notice that its looking very soft, but when I cadle it its looks a rosy pink color. It's also growing what it looks like too be mold but im not sure. There are 4 other eggs in the incubator will that affect them? Also I had two eggs my gecko laid that i discovered a day later and they were slighty sunken in but are showing veins when i cadle them. Can I "bring them back too left" by putting them in the incubator
any advice would be helpful

thank you

It can be stressfull to go through the incubation process, see all this stuff happening and feel powerless. Basically, if your temps are reasonably steady, your humidity is OK and the geckos are fertile, you will have a fair amount of success. You will also have some mysteriously infertile eggs, eggs that go bad late in the incubation period and have perfectly formed dead babies inside, moldy eggs that hatch, moldy eggs that don't hatch, and a host of other lovely things that happen, along with a number of beautiful hatchlings. The rule of thumb is to make sure your conditions are correct, and incubate everything you find until it either hatches or stinks.

Good luck,

The eggs you found a day late will be fine. The moisture in your incubation medium will plump the eggs back up. Sounds like the eggs are fine since you candled them and saw veins. The other egg you are talking about sounds to me to be infertile, but like stated in the above post incubate until all hope is gone. Good luck!
