A couple of questions?

I got some tiles, and they have places where air pockets can form and heat unevenly so i was wondering what kind of sand to put under it them, and how much. I saw like Reptisand the other day is that stuff any good?

Well they really won't come into contact with it too much, so you probably be fine just stay away from calcium sand.
