Like everyone else i have been fascinated by the colouration of sunglow. However i do realise that some sunglow has a full orange/yellow head while others still retain the albino pattern on the head.Would like to ask how to go about to retain the albino pattern on the sunglow's head?

You'll get the best chances of producing "carrot head" sunglows by breeding sunglows with good head pattern to each other. The trait is relatively unstable, and behaves how it wants to behave, but you should get a few on the level your looking for.

Or, if you want to make them from 'scratch', you could breed a regular banded albino to regular hypos--hypos with black pattern on the tail and head(not super hypos) to create your project "hets", and then you' very likely produce hypo albinos (sunglows) with good head pattern in your 2nd generation. Further line/selective breeding should help to 'stabilize' the trait. Just breed the ones exhibiting the traits you wish to amplify together--the best of the best, bred to the best of the best Hope this helps :D

JMG Sunglows. I don't know if this is what you are looking to produce? But if you have not seen them go check them out, can you say AWESOME. Your best bet would be to buy a pair from these guys. Good luck.

Yep--you'll get way more offspring showing that trait if all your foundation geckos display it--get hypos with the strongest black heads you can get your hands on, and breed them to an albino with a very heavily spotted head. Or better yet, use a sunglow male exhibiting the head trait already, and breed him to black head hypos het albino...and save yourself a year...

maybe you could try breeding hypo het tremper(male) to hypo het tremper (female)
both exhibiting patterns on their heads, i guess only then you'll have a higher chance. someone correct me if i'm wrong, cheers;)
