Those are some great shots of the geckos, Johannes did a great job! I love how orange your "Too Cool" leo is AND the U. milli (which I've never owned) looks extremely cute at that angle :p Hehe.

Those are great pictures of some very nice Geckos. If Johannes is still visiting with you please tell him I said to say hi. Tell him I hope his trip is going great.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! Johannes takes amazing photos, and is so patient with the geckos getting them to hold still. He wanted to surprise me with some photos of my geckos that he left in a folder on my desktop.... he knows how much I love his gecko photography!!!

He used his own camera, and since I wasn't here when he took the pics I am assuming he used my usual set-up, which consists of a white piece of card stock as a background, and an overhead light resting on two paper towel rolls. Very hi-tech and sophisticated!

Unfortunately, Johannes left yesterday and is now in Honduras to work on the endangered Black Iguana conservation effort. I had the pleasure of his company for the whole month since Daytona, and I already miss him terribly! I cried like a baby when we said good-bye. I am very proud that he is my young, German friend. I hope we can meet again someday...

I must say that Johannes was a very nice guy to meet and I am truely amazed by those images he took. He knows quite well how to use DOF to his advantage and the framing and body position are very appealing!

Marcia, though he took these nice images, it was your great geckos. Beautiful things are easier to photograph ;)
