We just added 2 more subspecies to our leopard gecko family, we now have also Turcmenicus and Montanus.

Being a mack fan, I love that montanus for it's high white look, but both are extrordinary additions though!

Great additions, Alberto! I have several E. fasciolatus, and would like to have some other localities someday, too! Out of curiousity, how can we be sure that these geckos are actual localities or sub-species? Is anyone doing sub-labial scale counts or digit structure analysis on these geckos?

I've been trying that with goniurosaurus lately, glad to see some nice ssp's!
I do like the word analysis :p

As of now I am trusting the keepers I buy from that these are true SSP. I do not have enough information at hand to compare my animals with. It would be nice that people that are collecting wild specimens would do some reporting on locality and SSP PICS for us to compare.

I agree! What would even be nicer is if we could go into the Middle-East and do field studies!
