Thanks again, everyone!
One thing I really like about them, and something not a lot of people know, is that the males have such a distinct mating call. Probably sounds corny, but that really adds a new dimension to the whole gecko keeping "experience"...or at least makes up for the fact that you usually can't hold them like a crested gecko. lol
Probably not. They're just a fun project...granted that is how the crested geckos started.
I haven't even produced any Tokays yet, so I have no idea if I'll be able to breed them in sellable numbers or not. They're really hardy, so I don't think they'll be too hard, but they are egg gluers and a little territorial about their eggs. Even if they don't produce readily, they're still really cool. Very different than keeping other geckos...some of them want to kill you, but fortunately, they don't drop their tails very often and those awesome soft leather gloves are only $9 at home depot. lol
They don't really come around often enough to offer them on my website, but sometimes I get them for friends. They're just so expensive and the collectors can't send photos. They just give me a price and the quantity of "weird tokay gecko" currently available. They're all wild caught too, so that kinda sucks. Fortunately tokays are tough.
NERD is doing pretty well with them...they've been at it for a few years now. I think they have CBB babies of several new morphs available right now, actually.

Are you going to start offering Tokays soon, Anthony? :wink3:
