Davey it´s a Canon EOS 350D not the newest but I know how to take pics of my geckos with this one.
My dad has the 40D and I´m not able to do pics of the same quality with it^^

Gecko-Man Photography

So Gecko - Man...........
Lets just go to the bottom line on this thread.
This hobby of mine costs me money each time you
post these photos. I mean yes, I agree they are
top notch and could easily be contest winners. BUT:
(here it comes now....I have to go out and buy a bigger monitor
each time you do a photo shoot. That last photo I scrolled up and
down, left and right for a good 10 minutes before I could find
an eyeball............was a pretty eyeball though.

Yeah, I did the poster already.
Eye think eye will pass the eye poster on to my eye doctor and see if he can fix my eyes to look like that, I don't mean that large...only the color.
Now, do you take closeups of the eye, or is that gecko like a
super, super, gigantic, colossal size morph?
Can I borrow your camera sometime?
If not, ask your Dad about borrowing his.
