A few quick Questions.

I have what I was told is a "Snow", when I bought it, the thing was about 3 inches long and really really dark lavender with little to no black spots just really darker purple spots. After the past month or so the lavender has faded to a much whiter color and the spots have turned black, and now ther is some yellow showing on his back and legs. So is it really a snow? I'm thinking no. It's only about 3 months old. too early to tell?

My "Tangerine", Is growing super fast. When i get it, the thing was 3 inches like the other, now its about 5. The snow weighs 12 grams and the tang weighs 21. Could this be a food thing? I make sure that they get a certain amount and seperate them when I feed them.

My albino. I got it yesterday woohoo.. do these guys change at all?

My Blazing Blizz. It doesnt have albino eye's, is it just a blizz?

your tang looks normal to me but tangs change alot. Your snow could still be a snow. There are alot of variations of them.

Your very right John they could be washed out "Dirty" snows. You would have to breed it to be certain.

Snows are very new to me. I just had my 1st snow a week. I spent alot of time on alot of breeders sites looking at snows. Then you have all the hets it could have also.
Tangs start out looking normal and as they shed and get older they get their coloring and patterns.
I think if you have pics when you first got them and take pics every week and compare them, you might see the changes.

I got it from a local pet store called whitie's Pets. I asked about who the wholesaler was but they wouldn't give out any info. I tried to get a pic of my albino up but its really squirmy and i don't wanna risk anything.
