I think we finally hatched the total eclipse (super snow eclipse). Not what I was hopping for, as many people know, we were hopping to get an all black gecko. I have hatched many supers and this is the only one with the characteristic of the eclipse, the blue dot on the head and the white nose I think are a very good indication of these to be it. Also white socks, my other super have a lot more black dots on the legs then this one. I will sure prove this out next year, this is the baby from my Mack raptor female which makes this little one 100% het albino as well, very good start for me. If anyone has any super with these look let me know, I like to compare notes as well.

Congrats Alberto!....not exactly what you were hoping for but still an awesome animal!....I was wondering if you had any hatchling photos to share of this animal and possibly the enigma blizzard in your other post....I certainly havent hatched many supers snow normals this year...but the four I did did not have the traits you are speaking of as being unique to THIS morph.

Nice one! I agree, the white nose and feet are definitely Eclipse traits and not really seen on regular SSs...

Another new and exciting morph from you?!? It never ends...lol.... :)
Sorry it didn't hatch out as you had hoped, but it is cool and provides good information for others nonetheless. Way to go.

Unfortunately no previous PICS because for the total eclipse I did not notice it until later and the other animal was a little premature and I did not want to post or take a PIC of it before then I was sure he was going to make it. These are the first PICS I took of them.

I guess that's part of the fun of working with these very new morphs no one has seen before....no one really knows what they look like as hatchlings......at a month or two.....or as adults....pretty cool opportunity!...Congrats again!

Very cool indeed Alberto! I agree with your reasoning and can't wait to see this prove out. Some day you will find a way to make a black gecko with solid black eyes! If you can't, I don't know who can ;)

Cool SSE Alberto... I like the white arms and nose...

I still stand firm in the belief that an all black leo is out of reach until a true melanistic gene pops up in someones collection...
