A little Georgia herping..DUW

Well, I went home for the weekend to visit my parents (south Georgia) and I went outside as soon as I got everything inside. It was hot and muggy and I was out to photograph some of the lizards that enjoy hanging around on the brick house (not one to be seen, naturally) but I did find this beauty. I think it's a gray rat snake?

I found him under a blue berry bush (which is right next to a grape vine)

Anyway, onto the interesting stuff

Thanks! I was really glad I had the chance to photograph it. It calmed down a bit after it realized I didn't have an intention of eating it and got much more curious...was really neat!
