hi everyone.
I got a new female a couple of days ago but i can't figure out the morph, would love to get your input:
photo(1).JPG
some family history:
both parents are tremper albino
the mother's an emerine with lots of green
the father's a sunglow
out of 10 hatchlings, 4 have the same morph as my female and the rest are either emerine or hypo.

thoughts?

It's a Tremper albino (which makes sense, since both parents are) and it's too young to tell yet whether it will be an emerine or sunglow.

Hello Aliza, I wonder if you can help me with something. How can you tell right off the bat if a newborn hatchling is Albino? Well in this case it's obvious due to genetics as both parents are homozygous for an albino strain, but in a case where they wouldn't be how could you tell? Because of the usually black stripes being slightly lighter and more like brown? I mean I have seen babies that make it obvious to tell with very light stripes but some seem to have much darker making them similar to wildtypes. Thanks for the help.

If the stripes are brown, purple, or tan, then it's albino. Yours has brown stripes so I'm betting it was at cooler temps. The other way is looking at the pupils in different lighting and seeing if you see a red tint.

In my experience with emerine trempers, the emerine often gets passed down. Also, since the dad is a sunglow (which has tang) I'm betting this baby will develop a nice orange.

correction - the mother is only het for albino.
also I know that my leo is an albino, It's just that the big stripes with that strong contrast are weird to me.
I thought they would disappear or at least fade by now...
