i was told its a scarlet king snake, b/c the bands go all the way around to the underbelly. even if its a milk i have to say i still love it, its kid of spazzy when i hold it tho, i just need to work with it a little and it should calm down.

I would need a goood shot of the underside, from the start of the vent down to the tip of the tail. If not, a probing would have to be in order!

well, he ate today! the petshop told me to place the snake right in the brown paper bag that they gave the pinky in, and it worked, in between cooking ribs/beer can chicken/ and baked potatoes on the grill i was going into the room peeking in the bag, i got to seen him do his constricting which was cool, but i didnt get to watch him actually eat it. but im sure i will very soon.

lol, well, i sort of had to "show" him his warm spot in his enclosure. he was curled up in a little ball at the cool end (and its been cold in our house lately, dang cold fronts) of his enclosure and i have read that they need a warm spot to aid in digestion, after seeing him in his cool spot all day and night, i picked him up and placed him in his hide over the warm part of his enclosure. he seems alot more comfortable now. it was there all the time, he just hasnt discovered it untill i showed him, lol.
