... crickets.

My retard cat knocked over my cricket container while I was not home. This of course caused it to flood and killed 90% of my crickets. I spent a lot of time doing rescue ops for the survivors.

We lost a lot of good crickets out there...

Hahaha! I was a bit nervous when I opened this, but now I'm trying not to giggle. I keep my crix in a cabinet so my cat can't pull any of his foolish antics!

Why do bugs make cats so retarded?
Our idiot-child knocked over an entire new box of 400 crickets.
Our family game night turned into a rousing game of "Catch the Crickets."

Cats...:main_no: :main_rolleyes:

Sorry about your mass casualties.

i dont know whats worse, drowning or being eaten alive. good thing im not a cricket. lol
mine are kept in a small 3 gal on the vanity table on the adjacent wall of my gecko. id hate to go chasing crickets in my room. doubt theyd be found. good thing my cat is too old to jump on things anymore (17 yrs.) she stares at them intently sometimes and i have to wonder what shes thinking. then i quickly shoo her out my door because im allergic to her. thankfully she hasnt noticed the big open container of mealies underneath the gecko tank which is much easier to get to if she were to climb on the many boxes of art supplies stored under the table.
good thing shes not too smart and half deaf.
(i do love my cat, but shes not so keen on me, so i have a right to bad mouth her sometimes. lol)

lol! First the supers and now the crickets?! geesh...your poor bugs. ;)

Our cat knocked over our cricket keeper that had three week old crickets in it...well, the holes in the top of the keeper are bigger than the crickets and we had tons of little crickets all over the floor!

My cat doesn't like bugs....or mice for that matter. They seem to be much too droll for her taste, LOL. She is 16 years old and she laid and watched a mouse run around our kitchen one day and never offered to go chase it. This was when she was like 3 so it wasn't an age issue. She is just stuck up and lazy. My deepest condolances for your crickets by the way. It very well could have been a botched escape attempt. Maybe they put the cat up to knocking them over.
