A variety of feeder, how should it be done?

I know the best thing to give your gecko is a varied diet that is properly gut-loaded and dusted. I'm all for that and since she's finally eating I thought I'd get some different foods since she already eats mealies. I was thinking of roaches, silkies, maybe some hornworms. Anything and everything that can be given to a Leo I'm willing to try.

Should I give her a different feeder food everyday? Or should I change it on a weekly bases, monthly bases, etc?

How do you do it?

I vary with every feeding, when practical. That way fussy eaters that won't eat a particular item won't go hungry for long.

Generally fat healthy adult geckos only eat 2-3 times a week. So feeding a different feeder every feeding day would be the best route imo. But doing that with several different feeders is a lot of work. I switch between mealworms and roaches at my own convenience. A leo can be perfectly healthy without a varied diet.

Variety

If possible vary feedings even during the same meal. Variety for the sake of variety doesnt really do anything unless each of them brings something different to the mix. For example alternating mealworms with roaches is not as benificial as just roaches. Feeding say a roach and a spider however do because they are two completely different types of animals with two totally different diets. Also gutloading and supplementation are inferior to a doet of varoed feeders fed themselves, a healthy diet. The contents of the guts of the feeders also provide nutrients to the animals they are being fed to.
