I was researching what makes a snowglow and tell me if I am completely off in my thoughts but if I bred a mack snow albino (Tremper) to a SHTCT I could come up with some snowglows? Would it be in the 1st gen? or 2nd gen before I get them? Or would I need to breed a Mack Snow to an albino and then breed that offspring to a SHTCT to get a snowglow?

It's going to be a line bred thing unless you buy two snowplows. You have to weed out the low quality ones over a few years. Id start with two albinos. Two hypos het Tremper and a nice supersnow. Or wait because Ron is releasing four new genetically proven morphs. Lol.

lol snowplow... Well I am getting 2 sunglows that are really pretty I am just hoping one ends up being female :) but for snowglows I havent seen any for sale and I thought it would be an interesting project to start from scratch. Hmm I have a Mack Snow Albino (Tremper) (pictured to the left) According to Wiki I can get snowglows from paring her with a sunglow. Would the sunglow have to be het for Tremper also?

Haha snowplow... I thought you were making a joke. You should have just let it ride and seen if any one noticed >_<

I am working on a Snowglow project too. I have the basic morphs, Mack Snow Albino, and SHTCT. I am on the first step; and this year I expect to get some SHTCT het Tremper. Then breed those to get some low quality Sunglows. It's going to take a lot of years of line breeding to get a nice Snowglow. However, I think it will be worth it.

I have Snowglows and have been working with projects similar to it for a while. Snowglows are similar to Creamsicles in that they take many generations to create quality ones. If you want to get a head start on a Snowglow I would suggest getting a Creamsicle het Tremper and breeding it to a sunglow or a tangerine het Tremper. If you want to start from scratch you will be producing many generations of snow trempers with hypo influence...which is not a good example of a Snowglow but many people sell them as such. Same goes for Creamsicles. Many of them are not true creamsicles but are younger generations of peoples projects and they label them as such because it is easier to sell them.

I am a HUGE fan of Creamsicles and love working with them. If you want to do a Snowglow project that's awesome...but make sure you start with good genetics.

Here is a Snowglow from this year (from a Creamsicle Enigma het Tremper x Blood Hypo het Tremper)...which also happens to be for sale.
