about to shed??

Hey, i just got a gecko like 4 days ago. (they are GREAT) and i am a little paranoid about shedding, i really don't want any missing toes. so anyways i took a pic of his/her head and was wondering if it looks like it is about to shed.

i cant really tell from that pic... but you will know when they are gettin ready to shed... they will look very pale, white... kind of like when you get a blister... the difference in color from your skin... kind of the same idea... just make sure you have a humid hyde and you should be fine

Do you have a full body shot? But yeah, what Bill said is correct, no worries, and if shed does happen to stick, give him a bath in lukewarm water up to his belly or knees.

I experienced my first shed late last week. Chalcedony got really pale and milky looking just before he was going to shed, and managed super even without going into the moist hide.

Don't be too worried, they'll manage pretty well.
