Abrasion on swollen foot

Hello, for about 2 months now my 8 year old common leopard gecko has had a swollen red foot. At first I just thought she had a bad shed and it was just a little abrasion. But this morning a watched her shed that exact foot area and everything went smoothly. It doesn’t appear to be hindering or hurting her in anyway but it has gotten bigger which is what worries me. If anyone knows how I can help her please do share. Thank you!

It's probably an infection. The safest thing to do is to take her to a vet. I have, a few times, sterilized a needle or a small scalpel (I'm not a vet) and then pierced the area and squeezed out the pus.
