So my outside unit just took a dive. We're in northern tx and it's been hot here the last several days. I'm thinking I'm going to have to move my eggs so they don't get too hot, and I've turned all power off on my racks as it's at 80 in the house in the middle of the night...

Queston is.... The inlaws live about a mile away and I'm wondering how well eggs do when transported. How has anyone else's experience been with moving eggs?

Suggestions:
Not sure what the high is spiking to but
I've heard of cooling down some with ice or those
Fridge icers things....of course depending on
the incubator type.
Probably decision could be based on how
long the air will be off.

AS far as moving them....can't be any worse
than your high spiking to 105 or ?
Move them carefully to where it's able to temp. where
you want it.
All the best...Take care. HJ

Landen, I have moved eggs many times... I actually drove with eggs for over 3 hours...
Transporting should be no issue as long as the temps are somewhat stable and you dont do anything to upset the placement of the eggs...
