Acclimating

I bought 4 adult leos a little over a week ago. They are all housed separately, temps are where they should be. Everything seems ideal but they are not eating. I have heard that adult leos can take longer to acclimate but was just wondering how long other people have experienced. It will be 2 weeks Thursday. Also I was wondering if just leaving food in their dish or trying to feed in a separate container would be better.

yeah ive had some adults go as long as three weeks before eating after getting them. its stressful i know. my first question is do you know what they were being fed prior to you getting them, and what are you trying to feed now? if they were eating worms before and you are feeding worms now, i would just leave them in the bowl for a couple of days. as long as your temps are good and they are healthy geckos, they will eat when they get hungry.

They were fed worms and that's what ive been trying to get them to eat(not a big fan of crickets). The geckos are def healthy little Chubby's so im not super worried but I wont lie its a little stressful seeing worms everyday.

if they were being fed mealies or supers, and you are offering the same, it's just gonna take patience. i know it sucks, but i wouldn't worry unless they start losing massive amounts of weight or you start seeing issues with feces. good luck, i hope they eat soon for you and keep us updated.

I definitely agree with Shawn. Sometimes it takes several weeks to just be patient. I would try some crickets next time. Just get a dozen to see if he is interested in them. I think the amount of movement that crickets do entices the geckos too much. They are generally what I give when a gecko won't eat for a bit.
