Hello there! Just joined today but have been lurking and reseaching for a little while
I adopted a 1 year old Leo about a month ago. He came with a 10g tank, UTH, screen lid, 2 lights, calcium dish, water dish, moss, mealworms, gut load, faux rocks for a dry hide and a plastic wet hide.
All for the amazing re-homing fee of $50!
Its been a month and I have already upgraded "Geek" the Gecko to a 20 long - an Eco Rock hide for his wet hide, added a 1"x1.5' peice of thick slate to the floor and a new dry hide.
Now I am actully looking into upgrading to a 46g wood vivarium
This is my first Gecko so I have much to learn and (plenty to read thanks to this helpful site.....). I hope you will all bear with me as work my way into this and learn all I can - I am sure to have many questions!
I have had snakes in the past so I am not new to reptiles just new to Gecko's
I also maintain a saltwater reef aquarium so I have a little experiance in tank builds thanks to that hobby.
Thank you for all the help everyone has already been with all the informational and inspiring posts and thank you in advance for any help you are able to provide going forward
This is gonna be fun!
PS - Already posted my first question - Help?!
